Angels and Evil in Second Temple Judaism

Dr. Loren Stuckenbruck (Professor of New Testament at the University of Munich) is a leading scholar of the texts of the Second Temple Period, including connections among the "New Testament," the Qumran scrolls, and Jewish apocalyptic literature generally. His many publications include: The Myth of Rebellious Angels; source publications and commentaries on 1 Enoch and the Book of Giants from Qumran; a co-edited volume entitled Evil in Second Temple Judaism and Early Christianity; and, most recently, the co-edited Encyclopedia of Second Temple Judaism.
