Dr. Ephraim Radner (Wycliffe College at the University of Toronto) is an original and influential thinker on many topics related to Biblical interpretation. A historical theologian and Episcopal priest, he has served in various positions around the world, including Burundi (East Africa) and Colorado (USA). His several books include Time to Keep: Theology, Mortality, and the Shape of a Human Life; A Brutal Unity: The Spiritual Politics of the Christian Church; and the Leviticus volume of the Brazos Theological Commentary on the Bible. In this engaging conversation with Dr. Yeshaya Gruber of the Israel Bible Center, Prof. Radner traces how Jews and Christians have perceived profound significance in the book of Leviticus. Much more than a ritual manual, this ancient text has much to say about the relationships between God and humanity, the role of Israel in history, holiness and renewed living, and the divine Spirit.
